Shipping Policy: Vitreous Vault LLC
All artworks ship for free and will arrive directly from the individual artist. At the Vitreous Vault, we’ve collaborated with both artists and shippers to determine the best practices for packing, insuring, and shipping artworks to ensure they reach you in excellent condition. Depending on the size and nature of the piece, it may be shipped double or triple-boxed to provide maximum protection.
Inspecting Your Delivery
If the packaging shows visible damage upon arrival, please inspect the contents before signing for it. In the unfortunate event that the artwork arrives damaged, it will be your responsibility to file an insurance claim with the shipping provider. The claim should reflect the insured value, which is the price you paid for the piece.
To support your claim, take the following steps immediately:

Photograph the damaged packaging, interior packing materials, and the artwork itself.

Contact the shipping company to file the claim as soon as possible.
Limitations and Support
Since shipping is handled by a third party, neither the Vitreous Vault nor the artist can assist directly with the claim process. However, if the damage is minor, and once you’ve settled with the shipper, we may be able to explore repair options with the artist. Please reach out to us to discuss potential repairs, and we’ll coordinate with the artist where feasible.
